Since graduation in 2000, Angela has found herself in private practice Licensed by the Oregon Medical Board as an Acupuncturist and by the NCCAOM as a Diplomat. She has owned and operated 2 wellness centers since graduation and continues to pursue other health and wellness ventures. She received her Masters Degree from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine here in Portland, Oregon and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in psychology from Kent State University in Ohio. Angela's unique approach is deeply rooted in East Asian Medicine with a twist of Tao of life Coaching. She believes in helping her clients with the daily rhythms and rituals of life to help maximize their life experience. Her expertise is diving deep into what is truly holding you back from your full potential.
She is has extensive experience with women’s health, pain management, fertility enhancement for men and women, auto injuries, digestive complaints, adjunctive therapy for cancer patients, IVF transfer patients and sports injuries. She also is the CEO of the Integrative Fertility Institute and is a highly skilled Integrative Fertility Coach. She loves the outdoors and finds the winters here are just as much fun as the summers.
May LiM LAc Acupuncturist and Herbalist
May was raised in a traditional Chinese family in Malaysia. Growing up she had very few visits to Western medical clinics but had plenty of visits to Chinese herbalists. She came to America to attend college and later worked as a software engineer at several university hospitals. Her childhood experience in Southeast Asia as well as her education and work experience here in the states instilled in her an appreciation for both modern Western and traditional Eastern medicines. Her long-held interest in plants and herbal medicine eventually led her to pursue a Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degree from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, followed by a five-week externship at Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine in China. She prefers simple, gentle and non-invasive Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) treatments including acupuncture, moxibustion, tui-na massage, gua-sha, and herbal formulas to help restore and maintain physical and mental balance.
